Utilities And Services

There are two steps to handling your utilities and services – Canceling your existing services and scheduling the start of new ones once you arrive at your new destination. Getting these tasks out of the way early can free you up to focus on the other logistics of your move – And ensure that you have all the services you need on the very first day in your new home.

Timing

Schedule cancellation of your existing utilities and services 1-2 months before you move. Schedule the start of these same services about 3 weeks before your relocation. This timeline ensures that the appropriate companies have time to implement the changes you request.
